Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Bites

These chocolate peanut butter protein bites are the perfect pick-me-up for test days, race days, or any time you need quick brain recovery. Made with simple, wholesome ingredients like oats, peanut butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and vanilla, each bite delivers about 5 grams of protein to keep your mind sharp and your energy steady. They’re rich, satisfying, and easy to make ahead of time. Ideal for recovering from cognitive performance events (CPEs) or as a snack, one bite at a time.


Chocolate oatmeal balls are arranged on a wooden board. The dark brown balls have visible oatmeal pieces, creating a rustic texture.

Ingredients:


  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (about 40g protein)

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter

  • 5 dates, chopped

  • 3 Tbsp maple syrup (maybe a little more)

  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract


Instructions


  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Scoop and roll into about 20 bite-sized pieces.


Each bite contains about 115 calories and about 5.5 grams of protein.
