Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (400g) of chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt

  • 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper


Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained chickpeas, olive oil, maple syrup, salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Toss until well coated.

  3. Spread the chickpeas evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until they are golden and crispy.

  5. Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
