Blueberry smoothies have become a popular and delicious beverage over the years. While it's challenging to pinpoint an exact history, we can trace the popularity of blueberry smoothies to the rise of the health and wellness movement in the late 20th century. Smoothies, in general, gained popularity in the 1960s and 1970s as part of the health food movement. The concept of blending fruits into a drinkable form became a convenient and nutritious way to consume vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients:
1 large frozen banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 large stick of celery
2/3 cup sliced frozen cucumber
1 handful spinach
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or how ever many scoops is 20 grams protein)
1 cup soy milk (or beverage of your choice)
Optional: Add 5g creatine in this daily smoothie for extra cognitive power.
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until creamy.
Serve immediately.
This recipe is about 500 calories, 30 grams protein, and about 15 grams fiber.
